The magical and heart warming animation 'The Tale of Despereaux' previews this weekend (13th and 14th Dec) at selected cinemas across the nation, before its nationwide release on 19th December. Seeing its world premiere in Hollywood last night, and based on the bestselling book by author Kate Di Camillo, the film features the vocal talents of Emma Watson, Dustin Hoffman, Matthew Broderick, Robbie Coltrane, Kevin Kline, Stanley Tucci and Sigourney Weaver.
The Tale of Despereaux tells the story of a brave and virtuous mouse that is simply too big for his small world. Though tiny, wheezy and saddled with comically oversized ears, Despereaux refuses to live a life of weakness and fear...believing he was destined to be celebrated in the tales of chivalry he so adores.
