Visit the Stitch and Creative Crafts Show this September and you will be inspired whether you are an experienced crafter, beginner or simply looking for a new hobby.
This is your opportunity to shop for those hard to find supplies and stock up on your favourite craft products all under one roof! There are workshops where you can learn new techniques from the experts and a wide selection of exhibitors with all the latest in cross-stitch, sewing, card making, embroidery, knitting, patchwork, quilting, scrapbooking, ribbon craft, papercrafts, stamping, beading, painting, dressmaking, tapestry, decoupage, crochet and many more popular stitch and creative crafts. There is something for everyone at this superb show.
There will be several on-stand displays, presentations and advice centres as well as feature displays from the Guild of Machine Knitters, The Feltmakers, Lacemakers, Embroiderers, Weavers, Spinners (FLEWS) Group, The Lucet Company, to name but a few.
An interesting programme of hands-on workshops and new master classes is planned; these include card-making workshops with popular Ideal World Create and Craft presenter Stephanie Weightman and TV personality Debbi Moore. There will also be ‘Make and Takes’ where you can learn a diverse range of crafts such as how to make Christmas Table Decorations or how to knit with 2 circular needles. You can also learn how to make jewellery and a handbag charm out of beads at The Bead Workshops by Findingbeads4u or knit and relax on the Silkwood Angora stand with their lovely Angora rabbits. Faye Whittaker, ‘All Our Yesterdays’ Cross-stitch designer is to launch her new collection and will make celebrity appearances on the ‘Embroiderstitch’ stand.
The exhibition is the perfect place to see, try and buy all your creative craft supplies. There are also many readymade gifts on sale, which will be great for you or for Christmas presents. Things to buy include craft materials, craft kits, machines, yarns, patterns, cards, pictures, accessories and books. Visitors will also have the opportunity to pick up special offers and show bargains.
Admission prices are £7.50 adults, £6.50 concessions and accompanied children under 16 are free of charge.
