The largest Stitch & Creative Crafts Show yet comes to Essex

The Stitch and Creative Crafts Show at Towerlands Park, Braintree is the latest show to be added to our portfolio of popular and successful Stitch and Creative Craft Shows that take place around the UK. It’s time to indulge your passion for everything crafty. You will discover exciting new ideas to try at home whether you are an experienced crafter, beginner or simply looking for a new hobby, you will be inspired when you visit the Show.

You can develop your crafting skills at one of many workshops with Best Craft Personality Stephanie Weightman and renowned artist Nancy Watt. There will also be other Guest Crafting Celebrities and Experts; Workshops; Make & Take Sessions; On-Stand Demonstrations; Advice Centres and Competitions. You will meet a wide selection of exhibitors with all the latest in cross-stitch; sewing; card making; needlecraft; knitting; patchwork; quilting; scrapbooking; ribbon craft; papercrafts; stamping; beading and many more popular stitch and creative crafts.

Features at the Show this January include; Silk Painting Workshops run by the Essex Guild of Silk Painters who will be offering ‘have a go’ sessions. For as little as £2.50 this is the ideal chance to try your hand at silk painting to produce a panel for a stunning greetings card. Knitting, Crochet & Felting workshops hosted by the Knitshop.co.uk , run daily for all levels of ability. Make & Takes run by expert crafters in a broad spectrum of craft mediums and plenty of on-stand demonstrations offering lots of great ideas to inspire all crafters, from the beginner to the enthusiast!

You can discover the intricacies of wearing a traditional Japanese ceremonial kimono with live demonstrations throughout the day. There will be also be displays from The Essex Guild of Silk Painters, Braintree Wool Gatherers Knitting Club, Quilters Guild of the British Isles, Guild of Machine Knitters, The Federation of Essex WI’s to name but a few.

The exhibition is the perfect place to see, try and buy all your creative craft supplies. There are also many ready-made gifts on sale, which will be great either for you or as gifts. Things to buy include craft materials; craft kits; machines; yarns; patterns; cards; pictures and books. Visitors will also have the opportunity to pick up special offers and show bargains. There are lots of free parking spaces and a free shuttle bus from Braintree City Centre Train Station.

Admission prices are £7.50 adults, £6.50 concessions and accompanied children under 16 are free of charge.
