A crowd of over 150,000 is expected to risk the forecast of scattered showers to rain some love on the TV talk-show host turned Chicago actor and many other stars of London’s Theatreland will be performing highlights from their musicals, too.

Also from the world of TV is Jodie Prenger, winner of I’d Do Anything, the talent show judged by Andrew Lloyd Webber which went in search of someone new to play Nancy in Oliver!

Oliver! and Chicago feature some of the best tunes currently being belted out every night in the West End, but they’ll be run close by performers from the likes of Avenue Q, Dirty Dancing, Jersey Boys, Sister Act and Wicked and plenty of others besides.

As well as the big name acts, there will be loads of family-friendly activities, such as the chance for kids to have a photo taken alongside legendary black and white cat owner Postman Pat, maybe after he’s put in a stint on the postal strike picket lines.

Full line-up details are on the official site and for tickets to all the shows featured at West End LIVE, see our own theatre section.

On Saturday 20 June, West End LIVE runs from 11.00am to 6.00pm and on Sunday 21 June from 12.00 noon to 5.30pm.
