The west London areas of Shepherd’s Bush, Hammersmith and Acton offer a wide variety of attractions and points of interest for visitors to the capital.
Acton is a mainly residential area. Like Hammersmith it has excellent transport links including District, Piccadilly, (at Acton Town – for Heathrow/West End) and Central line stations. It was the birthplace of rock band The Who, with all members bar Keith Moon attending the same Acton school.
