Lieutenant Jim Stone and his colleague and friend, Sergeant David Waters, are entrusted with coordinating the evidence of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. In the course of their duties, Jim and David learn about a drug dealer who has stashed a large amount of cash in a wall safe. The cops resolve to stage a heist and steal the loot from the criminal fraternity. Despite meticulous planning, the robbery goes tragically awry and the men are forced to take an innocent woman hostage.
