The Starling (12A)

One year after supermarket worker Lilly and schoolteacher husband Jack lost their only child to sudden infant death syndrome, he is recuperating alone in a mental health facility following a psychological breakdown and she is furiously tending the couple's home and garden. A running battle with a starling, which is nesting on the property, begins the healing process for Lilly and she gains further insight through her friendship with local veterinarian, Larry.
