MIT students Jonah Breck and Nic Eastman embark on a road trip to California with Nic’s girlfriend Haley Peterson, who is struggling to maintain their relationship in the shadow of his muscular dystrophy. During the drive, a hacker called NOMAD taunts the three students with threatening emails. Jonah, Nic and Haley manage to track NOMAD’s location to an abandoned house and they resolve to unmask the madman who has made their lives a misery.
