Sarah O’Neill moves to rural Ireland with her boy Chris to escape painful reminders of the past. During a drive through dense woods which envelop the community, mother and child narrowly avoid hitting a local woman, Noreen Brady. The local rumour mill speculates that Noreen murdered her son because she believed the boy had been replaced by an insidious doppelganger.
