It’s June 1993 and Lisa Wyrick and her husband Andy move into a remote house with their cherubic daughter, Heidi. Lisa’s no-good sister Joyce arrives soon after and helps her niece to make sense of strange visions, which include the spirit of the house’s previous owner, Mr Gordy, and the spirits of slaves, who were hidden from harm in an underground railroad that runs beneath the property.
