Middle-aged divorcee Nathalie Pecheux is consumed by jealousy and resents the success of people around her. She sets out to sabotage the best laid plans of friends, colleagues and loved ones including her pretty 18-year-old daughter Mathilde, who is poised to audition for the Paris Opera Ballet, and her ex-husband Jean-Pierre, who is planning a getaway with his new girlfriend Isabelle. Succumbing to her base envy, Nathalie wreaks havoc and also self-destructs her own love life.
