Frank Cotton buys a puzzle box in Morocco but doesn’t unlock the trinket’s dark secret until he has returned home. Solving the conundrum unleashes hooks and chains that tear him limb from limb. Subsequently, Frank’s brother Larry and his wife Julia move into Frank’s old home. Julia had an affair with Frank before his death and she discovers his corpse in the attic. She agrees to lure strangers back to the house so Frank can be restored by their freshly spilt blood.
