Orphan Harry Potter endures a miserable life with his aunt and uncle. Forced to live under the stairs and eat their leftovers, Harry dreams of a better place. Thankfully, happier times beckon when a strange letter leads the boy to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where he learns about spells and magic under the aegis of headmaster Albus Dumbledore. Flanked by school chums Hermione and Ron, the boy begins an epic quest to avenge his parents' deaths at the hands of Voldemort.
