Varun Batra and wife Deepti are determined to have children but they fail to fall pregnant. The Batras seek advice from Dr Anand Ansari, who recommends IVF. When Varun and Deepti return to Dr Ansari's office to learn the outcome of the treatment, they are horrified to discover that there has been a terrible mix-up involving Honey Batra and his wife Monika. The husbands have the same surname and their respective sperm has been used to fertilise the wrong egg.
