A documentary about the titular foundation, which offers emotional support to women involved in prostitution in Chicago. The film’s heroine is volunteer social worker Brenda Myers-Powell, a former streetwalker, who survived physical abuse and drug addiction and established the Dreamcatcher Foundation with another recovered addict, Stephanie Daniels-Wilson. Together, they provide counselling and rehabilitation to girls and women, who are being ignored by the authorities.
