In 2004, Rolf Winters and his wife Renata Heinen drew inspiration from a Native American tribe, the Anishnaabe, and purchased a piece of woodland on the shore of Lake Michigan. The couple built a house, a school for their three children then aged 6, 3 and 1, and a garden to grow their own food. In this revealing documentary, the couple and their offspring now aged 10, 7 and 6 embark on a five-year round-the-world odyssey to meet Earth Keepers, who live in harmony with their surroundings.
