A recording of a live performance of David Nixon OBE's erotically charged adaptation of Pierre Choderlos De Laclos's racy novel, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, for Northern Ballet, which charts a brutal battle of the sexes using a unique blend of ballet and drama set to Vivaldi's Four Seasons. In 18th-century France, the Marquise de Merteuil and former lover Vicomte de Valmont use sex as a weapon to humiliate and degrade when they plot revenge on a suitor, who left the Marquise for another woman.
