Sacha is the head of the Braguine family, who live in the Siberian tundra. The paterfamilias has existed self-sufficiently in the unspoiled wilderness for 40 years without any interference from the outside world. The area in inaccessible by road and the only other inhabitants are the Kiline family, who do not speak to the Braguines. This documentary follows Sacha and his clan as the threat of a Russian invasion of their forests intensifies, jeopardising their fairy tale existence.
