Northern Ballet's interactive staging of the classic children's story has been remastered for the big screen following its original broadcast on CBeebies. Anita Rai reads aloud the story of kind shoemaker Bertie, who struggles to provide for his wife Bettina. He sees a poor lady called Maggie in distress and gives her his final pair of shoes.
