In the mid-1980s, musician and comedian Chris Sievey gave birth to his colourful alter ego with a papier mache head, Frank Sidebottom, who made numerous radio and TV appearances, and toured the country with hand puppet sidekick Little Frank. This documentary sifts through Sievey’s extensive personal collection of home movies, diaries, notebooks, props and costumes. This material is interspersed with candid interviews with Sievey’s family, friends, collaborators and fans.
