Times are tough and Calvin Palmer has been forced to share his Chicago barbershop premises with a business partner, Angie, who runs a beauty parlour. Banter between the two sides lights the fuse on a good-natured battle of the sexes, which threatens to boil over when Angie’s employee Draya attempts to seduce barber Rashad in full view of his sassy wife Terri. Meanwhile, fellow barber Jerrod, who everyone mistakenly presumes is gay, catches the eye of the equally shy Bree.
