Alcoholic drug user Melvin is self-destructing. His ex-wife Doreen has filed a restraining order against him and is vigorously pursuing sole custody of their young son Rex. Living on the streets, Melvin has nothing to offer the world except for a special gift: he has telekinetic powers and can move objects by concentrating his mind, when he’s not inebriated or high. Melvin performs simple tricks on the street for cash to fund his drug habit.
