Construction foreman Roman is excited that his wife and daughter are flying to America. Heading to the airport to meet them, Roman is ushered into a side room where he learns that the flight carrying his family has been involved in a mid-air collision with another airplane. There are no survivors. It transpires that the air traffic controller on duty that fateful day, Jake Bonanos, was distracted and failed to alter the paths of the two flights.
