Twenty-something call centre worker Dan Thomas lives at home with his mother and takes his home comforts for granted. He gets into an argument with his father over a stolen lottery ticket and finds himself homeless. Collecting his most prized possessions and cat, Dan secretly moves into the call centre where he discovers that life can be tough without a well-stocked fridge. Under the constant threat of unemployment and eviction from the office, Dan attempts to romance his work colleague Terri.
