The Girls Aloud star has decided to expand her solo business interests and has been looking at a drinking establishment close to her hometown of Stockport, Northern England.
According to a source, the 26-year-old blonde beauty – who is also considering investing in property in Buckinghamshire – hopes to help run the establishment when she is not busy with the band.
The source told the Daily Star: “Sarah’s always been really savvy about her investments and has also always fancied the idea of owning a pub.
“She’s seen this perfect place in Heaton Chapel, near Stockport, and is considering putting an offer in on it and getting her friends and family involved in doing it up.
“It wouldn’t be possible for her to run it all the time but she’d like to take a turn at being landlady occasionally.”
Sarah – who recently sparked concerns about her health after being pictured looking thin and gaunt – is also hoping the investment will have other benefits.
The source added: “She’d love a gastro theme, based around local dishes. She’s lost a lot of weight during the Girls Aloud tour and is looking forward to eating well.”
