Prince Charles to attend Skyfall premiere; proceeds to go to real spies

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall will attend the premiere of the new James Bond film, Skyfall, next month, as will its star Daniel Craig.

The future king and his wife will be the guests of honour at the prestigious event at the Royal Albert Hall on 23 October to see the 23rd movie of the 007 franchise.

Charles has requested that the Skyfall premiere benefits charities that support real-life spies, the Secret Intelligence Service, the Security Service and GCHQ.

The film’s producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a statement: “We are thrilled His Royal Highness Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall have agreed to attend the World Premiere of our latest James Bond film, and are pleased this event will help raise funds to support the prince’s chosen charities.”
