David Hasselhoff has been released from hospital.

The 55 year-old star checked himself into Los Angeles’ UCLA Medical Center last weekend after an open wound above his eye began bleeding.
He had previously had an operation to remove something from the area, but the stitches came loose on Saturday (19.04.08). The actor was photographed on Wednesday (23.04.08) talking on his cell phone and sporting a large bandage above his left eye.
Following the incident, Hasselhoff’s assistant Judy Katz denied reports the America’s Got Talent judge had entered rehab, insisting: “He’s fine, he had something removed.”
The father-of-two was initially admitted to a rehab centre last October to treat his addiction to alcohol.
Hasselhoff’s divorce from his wife of 16 years Pamela Bach was finalised earlier this year. The former Baywatch star agreed to pay UKP12,600 a month to support his ex-wife and two daughters, 17-year-old Taylor-Ann and 15-year-old Hayley.
