She said: “I just came from a spinning class and the teacher pushed me into the front row. I never do that. I hate looking at myself. When I took dance classes, I’d fall over because I wouldn’t look at myself in the mirror. I’m always the one wearing baggy pants and a long-sleeved shirt to exercise in, drenched in sweat.”
The 42-year-old actress, a former child star, also admits she is struggling to come to terms with getting older.
The mother-of-two told Parade magazine: “I keep thinking I’m younger than I am. The other day, I was working with a photographer to recreate an image we had done years ago. When I saw my face, I kind of went, ‘What is that?’ I assumed I was going to look the same, and I didn’t. It was a shock to my system.”
