This is the first-ever exhibition of Taki Katei's works outside of Japan. His artwork was displayed in the Imperial courts though fell out of fashion shortly after his death, however a resurgence of his finely drawn flowers and birds has allowed international galleries to appreciate his skill. This exhibition looks at the symbolism embedded in his works and techniques he used.
