Fifteen-year-old Cady Heron moves from the African bush to American suburbia, where she is enrolled in the local high school. Her only two friends, misfits Janis and Damian, persuade Cady to befriend the school's primo bitch, Regina George, and infiltrate her coterie of beautiful young things, with the intention of exposing Regina for the minx she truly is. Cady agrees but the more time the newcomer spends with Regina and her mean girl chumettes, the nastier she becomes in turn.
