Con artist Colonel Harrington, his daughter Jean and associate Gerald target the rich and vulnerable with their clever schemes. The larcenous trio sets out to swindle Charles Pike, who is heir to a fortune and has recently returned from an expedition up the Amazon. Jean seduces Charles and he falls head over heels in love with her, unaware she intends to drain his bank account. However, the underhand plot doesn’t unfold as planned when Jean develops feelings for her prey.
