Oscar Ramirez toils long hours in the rice fields of the northern Philippines to provide for his wife Mai and their family. He abandons the provinces for the bright lights of Manila, where every street is controlled by criminal elements. By chance, Oscar secures work as a security guard for an armoured truck company and he takes to the road alongside senior officer Ong. Oscar discovers the high mortality rate for employees and he realises that Ong’s morals are questionable to say the least.
