'It's right that British style will be celebrated as part of the show,' is the line from organisers
KATE MOSS and Naomi Campbell are to showcase British fashion at the London Olympic Games closing ceremony.
The iconic south Londoners are to be joined by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lily Cole and Georgia May Jagger as
design names like Dame Vivienne Westwood and Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen have their clothes displayed by the famous models.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "Organisers wanted the best of British - and that's exactly what they've got.
"The models were all keen to take part because it will be such a memorable event.
"British style is known around the world for innovation and creativity, so it's right that it will be celebrated as part of the show - it will look amazing."
The multimillion pound closing ceremony, which will take place on Sunday 12 August, is titled A Symphony of British Music.
Creative Director Kim Gavin said: "We want to create a fabulous emotional experience, something that people will remember for years to come. It will be an elegant mash-up of British music."
Gavin added it will feature "the biggest after-show party - the show being the sport".
