The Duchess of Cambridge topped a poll of 3,000 UK women to be named the year’s most beautiful figure, followed in second by her sister Pippa.

Catherine, 29, won fans with her inspired fashion choices throughout the year, but also by sticking to the same style she had before her wedding to Prince William in April, as well as her famous flowing brown hair and her decision to do her own make up, even on her wedding day.
Pippa was praised for her perfect tan and figure, and natural make up choices.
Third in the annual poll, by retailer Superdrug, was last year’s winner, TV star Cheryl Cole, followed by pop singer Rihanna and TV presenter Holly Willoughby to round out the top five.
Sara Wolverson, Superdrug Director of beauty, who commissioned the research, said: “What is fascinating is that four of the five celebrity women to appear in the top five are brunettes, which would indicate that while blondes may have more fun, brunettes are seen to be more beautiful.
“Everyone in the list has a distinct look, whether it’s natural beauty, full octane glamour or a love of beauty trend hopping.”
Other stars to appear in the top twenty include Katy Perry, Beyonce Knowles and Lady Gaga.
