The legendary north London ska band have confirmed their appearance at the event and have also confirmed that their shows will be aired live by BBC radio’s 6 Music.

“6 Music are delighted to bring Madness back to their spiritual home to give a performance that truly connects them to their home crowd and to the wider 6 Music audience,” said 6 Music chief Jeff Smith.

The Camden Crawl takes place on 24 and 25 April at various venues in and around Camden, such as the Barfly, the Dublin Castle and the Hawley Arms.

However, where Madness turn up is a mystery as the band plan a series of secret gigs, all for free.

Also on this year’s Crawl line-up are The Fall, 808 State and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
