Clink Prison Museum

The Clink is a notorious prison in Southwark that functioned from the 12th century to the end of the 18th century. Originally used for detaining heretics, it fell into disuse after the English Civil War. The museum is located at the original Clink Street location. Open Monday - Friday 10:00 - 18:00; Saturday and Sunday 10:00 - 21:00. Admission is £5 for adults, £3.50 for concessions and children under 16 years and £12 for families.
