Big screen adaptation of Channel 4’s mini-series Traffik. Supreme Court judge Robert Lewis is charged with leading the US government’s war on the drug barons, but finds his position compromised when he learns his daughter Caroline is hooked on heroine. Meanwhile, Helena Ayala, wife of an imprisoned drugs overlord, attempts to keep her husband’s empire afloat, avoiding the long arm of the law in the form of DEA agents Montel Gordon and Ray Castro.
