The well at the top of a hill provides families in a remote village with all the water they need. Local women repeatedly make the long trek to the source of the spring to fill their buckets while their lazy husbands chew the fat over a glass of tea. Leila grows tired of the obvious imbalance and with the support of her teacher husband Sami, she encourages the other women to withhold sexual favours until the husbands take it in turns to fetch precious water.
