Robert Lepage stages Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho’s lush romantic opera set in the 12th century for a recording of a live broadcast from the stage of the Lincoln Center For The Performing Arts in New York under the baton of conductor Susanna Malkki, who is making her Metropolitan Opera debut. Eric Owens stars as the Prince of Blaye, who is resigned to never finding a woman to win his heart.
