In 1997, Sarah Singer prepares to release a contentious book about the exploits of her mother Rachel and fellow Mossad operatives David Peretz and Stefan Gold. Confronted with the written account of their 1966 mission to capture Nazi war criminal Dieter Vogel, who conducted horrific experiments on Jews during the Second World War under the monicker The Surgeon Of Birkenau, the agents recall the shadowy past.
