Major Hardit Singh enjoys a peaceful life with his wife Jasveer and children Daler and Rani in a village where Hindus and Sikhs exist side by side in harmony. Deputy Superintendent Pramod Saini nurtures a grudge against the Major and he descends on the village, determined to segregate the young men, including the Major’s son Daler. The captives are whisked away to an undisclosed location for interrogation. Tensions between the Major and Pramod intensify and tragedy strikes.
