Violence breaks out between the Yakel tribe and the neighbouring Imedin clan. In order to broker peace and forge ties, the tribes agree to arranged marriages between two of their women. Wawa is selected from the Yakel community as their sacrifice. Unfortunately, she is head over heels in love with Dain from her own tribe and does not want to give him up for the sake of peace. Wawa and Dain wrestle with their feelings.
