Booze-swilling Irish scribe Marty has reached an impasse with his script entitled Seven Psychopaths. So Marty’s best friend Billy, who is involved in a dog-napping scam with elderly associate Hans, places a newspaper advert asking bona fide psychopaths to anonymously share their life stories with Marty. Meanwhile, Billy and Hans steal a shih tzu called Bonny, unaware the pooch is the pride and joy of sadistic gangster Charlie Costello.
