Royal Ballet Live: Manon

An exuberant revival of Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s wildly popular ballet to mark the 25th anniversary of his death, which is broadcast live from the stage of the Royal Opera House in London under the baton of conductor Martin Yates. Chevalier Des Grieux falls deeply for Manon when he spots her at a country tavern. She reciprocates his love but is driven by her desire for ermine and jewels into the arms of rich but lecherous Monsieur G.M.
