Beecham House is a retirement home for opera singers and musicians, who are in the twilight of their glorious careers. Run with a gentle touch by on-staff medic Dr Lucy Cogan, the facility is full of colourful characters including Reginald, Wilf and Cissy, who used to perform together. Their humdrum routines at Beecham House are thrown into disarray by the arrival of Jean, Reg’s ex-wife and the fourth member of their old quartet.
