Documentary charting the growth of the Australian underground film industry during the past 30 years. Bursting with nudity, strong language and violence, the film includes contributions from the likes of Quentin Tarantino, Barry Humphries, directors George Miller (Mad Max) and Brian Trenchard Smith and cinematographer John Seale, who paint a vivid picture of this low budget era of invention and experimentation, when filmmakers grabbed the audience’s attention with a non-stop array of naked bodies, drugs, daredevil stunts and gratuitous gore, their tongues wedged firmly in cheek.
