Mary Kom (12A)

Born in Manipur, Mary shows a keen interest in sport as a child, but it is the success of boxer Dingko Singh, who wins a gold medal at the 1998 Asian Games, which inspires Mary to continue her journey of self-discovery inside the boxing ring. Training under Manipur state coach M Narjit Singh, she begins her quest for glory, which coincides with falling in love with Onler. They marry and raise twin sons while Mary achieves unparallelled success, becoming a five-time winner of the World Amateur Boxing championship.
