Turkish father Dee struggles in vain to hold his family together when his wife Moira is consigned to a care home, where her deteriorating condition can be closely monitored by the staff. While Dee’s eldest children Ewan and Ramona slip into the same emotional fug as their father, youngest child Rose is bewildered by the suddenly breakdown of her family unit. She sets out alone to see Moira but she is unprepared for the harsh realities of the days and weeks ahead.
