Lift To The Scaffold (Ascenseur Pour L'Echafaud) (PG)

Julien Tavernier works for arms manufacturer Simon Carala and is secretly engaged in an affair with his boss’s wife, Florence. They plan to kill Simon so they can be together and Julien enacts the plan but leaves a vital piece of evidence at the scene. He retrieves the incriminating item but becomes trapped in a lift. While Julien attempts to escape before police discover Simon’s lifeless body, Florence paces the streets of Paris, unaware of the unfolding drama.
