Writer Sophie and her chef boyfriend, Victor, embark on a trip to Italy. While he heads off into the countryside to source local ingredients for his restaurant, Sophie visits Juliet’s famous balcony and is surprised to see dozens of tourists affixing love letters to the wall. Soon after, the secretaries of Juliet collect the missives and write replies to these love sick strangers. Sophie offers to help, with surprising consequences.
